The Lemon Ball is an evening of cocktails, dinner, raffles, silent and live auctions and entertainment bringing together over 600 supporters of ALSF
The evening honored the Owners and Trainer of thoroughbred racing champion Afleet Alex. Liz and Jay Scott, the parents of the late Alex Scott, presented awards to Gail Apfel of Ardmore, Alex’s former Principal, and Foundation Volunteer of the Year; and the Mozer family of Kansas City, who were named Stand Hosts of the Year.
The event raised nearly a half a million dollars.
